About Royal Inheritance Children Home (RICH) Orphanage

Royal Inheritance Children Home (RICH) orphanage was established in 2014 by the Elders of Abba Father Assembly Chapel; led by Dr. Joshua Egbagbe; to care for Orphans and Vulnerable Children; and to help teach both psycho-social skills as well as Entrepreneurship and Vocational Skills; for self-sustainability in socio-economic matters. We currently have 21 children.

 

The basis of RICH is Love and the name RICH came about from the motivation that the inheritance and destinies of all men and women; including of the Orphans and Vulnerable come from God; and we are inspired to help the vulnerable children achieve theirs.

 

RICH Orphanage is a faith based Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) organization, under Abba Father Assembly. It is registered with the Ministry of Women Affairs Plateau State, as well as with the official umbrella body in Nigeria- the Association of Orphanages and Homes Operators in Nigeria (ASOHON).

To Manifest the Love of GOD to the fatherless; according to James 1:27; and to help the Children unleash their potentials; by equipping them with educational and life skills for socio-economic sustainability.

Spiritual and moral orientation; after the Messiah’s model espoused in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew and increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favour with God and with men. Educational, Vocational and Entrepreneurship/Skills Acquisition; to enhance self-empowerment and socio-economic sustainability.

Achievements

One

- Educational progress to most of the Children in RICH. Mary James Tanko is currently preparing to write WAEC and JAMB, Also Hannatu who came to RICH when she was in primary 1 and now in SS1.

- Vocational training to all the Children in RICH.

- Giving Hope and prospects to some of the child that felt there was no longer hope for them.

- RICH Orphanage has offered scholarships to vulnerable children in Inheritance Model School.

- Most of the children in RICH are excelling in academics although majority of them at enrollment could only speak their native languages but now fluent in English.
